R410a recharge June 29, 2020 Reviewer: miguel barajas from Baltimore   I have a 2-zone Pioneer mini-split, that over the winter got discharge, maybe due to an small leak. I found that that the Refrigerant Guys were sealing recharging kits and that I do not needed a license to do the work. I bought the recharge kit from them, plus another can of R410a with sealant. I follow up their instruction on how to recharge, not very complicated, and my system is now working properly. I'm really happy with my results, and with them for supplying the refrigerant and help. Product worked great for me June 28, 2020 Reviewer: Frederick M Horner from Westford, MA United States   I have three Fujitsu Mini-splits that are about 7 years old. I noticed that two of the were spitting water the last two years, this year no cooling. I bought the small charge cans of R410A and was able to follow the directions and charge all three units based on the gauge reading. Now they are all cooling just fine. Worked perfectly September 20, 2019 Reviewer: Kyle Miller from Provo, UT United States   Followed directions on can and from other folks online... get your AC running first, add a bit of refrigerant (couple seconds)...wait for equilibrium (sometimes a couple minutes).  Then repeat a few times.  Once the outdoor unit is giving off heat again you know it's working.  They (pros online) say the gauge on the can isn't supposed to work and mini-splits are supposed to be dumped and weighed back in but honestly this was far easier and cheaper than that.  I knew where I had had a small leak (flare connection to the indoor unit) so after re-tightening this got me the charge I needed.  I'll be checking the flares for oil to see if they're leaky, but so far so good.  Much better than redoing everything and having to draw a vacuum again IMHO.
